Prof Simukanga, the Current Registrar is a practical administrator with vast experience in running and coordinating various units, establishments and research houses both locally and internationally. He has been key to the strides the Board has made in recent years. He also has been at the center of creating a properly run and full-time Secretariat of the Board. BENJAMIN M. Benjamin Musonda is the Deputy Registrar and is in charge of the day to day running of the Secretariat. He is a qualified engineer with wide experience in consultancy and administration. He joined the Board in 2004 as a Technical officer and has risen through the ranks. His passion and dedication to work has brought in revolutionally performance to the Board especially the implementation of engineering firms’ registration through working strategies. In terms of the Engineer's Registration Board's mandate of enforcing the laws pertaining to engineering practice in zambia, Eng. Musonda has been instrumental to the implementation of most of the Board's resolution. With his contribution, the Board has been able to greatly increase its annual returns in a short time.
